SCREENING: Q&A (Janicza Bravo & Mica Levi), Sundance London DATE: August 1st CINEMA: Picturehouse Central LOCATION: West End NOTE: Now, you’re probably wondering why I didn’t see anything in between the Short Film Tour and this. Well, I was all seated for the Surprise Film, but the lady onstage revealed it, rather conveniently, to be Herself. Which I - and a dozen other patrons - had already seen at the 2020 London Film Festival, following its indefinite postponement. Most of us who didn’t need to see it again stayed for the opening Q&A with Harriet Walter, notified our neighbours and the festival volunteers of our previous viewing, and then left to find new ways to make up for lost time before our next show, just as it was about to begin. At least I booked this ticket with a Festival Pass!
