Max the Movie Guy added 1 item to Films I've seen on celluloid in the digital era list
FORMAT: 35mm
CONDITION: ★★½
NOTES: 1996/7 restoration, cutting out the UIP logo but not the Universal logo. Fairly faded but not enough to diminish the reds or greens, significantly worn and has lost several frames. The changeovers are irregularly placed, damaged and ruinous, truncating a few seconds out of each scene. It’s not quite VistaVision, but it sure sounds that way.

Max the Movie Guy added 1 item to Movies according to my dreams list
Many weird and scary things happened in this dream, including but not limited to train stations under Trump’s orders repeating their irritating police slogan to “quirky” yet dystopian degrees and not making a single announcement without mentioning it, which left me going insane in public and then restrained until I was calm and somehow let go by a fascist-looking police officer… *deep breath* …but I can remember that although Quan was still in this film kicking ass, he was in it just as much as two buffoon bandits were before they inevitably fell off a cliff. It felt more like a Coen Brothers film than an 87 North production.

FORMAT: 35mm
CONDITION: ★★½
NOTES: 1983 re-release, with the Universal logo plastering the Paramount logos. Could have been a dye transfer print. Neither the cleanest nor the sharpest print this film has ever seen.
