FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★½ NOTES: 2004 BFI restoration. One of the more obvious digital transfers of the BFI prints I’ve seen, looks well worn and experiences the most missing frames in its ending reel. Mostly smooth playback until then. The reel that opens on the crew visiting Guido’s apocalyptic film set was projected way off position for an anxiety-inducing 40 seconds.
