[youtube id=EXs2-TY9qok]
Trailer debut: December 17th 2020
Original release: April 10th 2020
New release: TBC
Reasons: See above.
Benefits: I was among those who saw this in October!
Flaws: Let's just hope they don't give this the same treatment as they did Under the Silver Lake and In Fabric.

UK RELEASE: ???
HOW I SAW IT: Netflix (USA)
WHEN I SAW IT: March 27th 2020
NOTE: This is one of several planned cinema releases moved to VOD when the coronavirus pandemic got all UK cinemas shut down. 606 distributed it in the UK, and though they secured the date on Curzon Home Cinema (a month after it hit Netflix in the US, which I was not informed of until yesterday), they plan to offer it a limited cinema release when the pandemic calms down.

Max the Movie Guy added 1 item to Movies according to my dreams list
This did end up getting released in 2020. But, as if it was a bonafide success, it was a Johnny English crossover. It was so dumb and so blissfully unaware of how dumb it was that it somehow ended up being one of the best movies of the year.

Trailer debut: December 16th 2019 (not online, trailer above dated February 5th 2020)
Original release: July 3rd 2020
New release: July 2nd 2021
Difference: 365 days(!)
Between trailer and release: 565 days
Reasons: The longest coronavirus-related delay, and the first on this list to be delayed as a result of the pandemic's impact on film production, this film was delayed due to the animation studio Illumination Mac Guff's closure to reduce the COVID-19 outbreak.
Benefits: As long as IMG still pays its employees during sick leave, this is for the best, and even if the delay is for a whole year, perhaps it could leave a little extra time for improvement.
Flaws: We're still going to be seeing these yellow blabber beans in a few more places for a whole extra year.

Has a plot that reads like a direct-to-video sequel but at least is backed up by more or less the same visual panache (albeit on a very white background). Was slated to be released in April 2020, but due to the coronavirus Sony had no choice but to roll with the premiere but then release it on YouTube for free two weeks early. Just an hour later, however, the video was pulled and the theatrical release was delayed until August.
