Laurel and Hardy Shorts 2 - Brats (★★★★½) - Helpmates (★★★★★) - The Live Ghost (★★★★) - Dirty Work (★★★★½) - Me and My Pal (★★★★) SCREENING: Laurel and Hardy DATE: January 12th CINEMA: BFI LOCATION: Southbank NOTE: These shorts were supposed to be screened in chronological order, finishing with The Live Ghost in 35mm. However, Helpmates was also screened in 35mm, and the changeover to digital caused a severe glitch in the projection before Dirty Work could be screened, and we had to wait a few minutes for the next short to start. They played The Live Ghost instead, to reassure us with that much-deserved entertainment as we waited for the digital projector to be fixed.
