A two-parter, and part one wasn’t even that Deadpool or Wolverine centric, dropping them in a few scenes early on – not even getting to do anything violent, just walking around bickering – while fixating on a whole roster of other, often made-up superheroes with more serious, intense and/or romantic character arcs. When everyone did finally come together, it was more like a “thanks for watching” party set by a white cliff. So much for all of that.
