FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★ NOTES: Supplied by the Cinema Museum. Very scratchy. Several green scratches get in the way all the while the cop is held hostage, while multiple white flashes occur twice when Blonde switches on the radio. When Blonde returns to douse the cop with gasoline, the print was projected at such an angle that you could see the boom mic. Some vertical lines also overlay the left of the screen during the flashback to Orange’s meeting with Holdaway. Seeing the Rank logo before this film, however………………that’s the stuff. FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★★½ NOTES: Bordering on 10 stars; accentuates the lighting terrifically, looks almost clear when not changing over and renders shots like Carey Mulligan walking down a supermarket aisle looking like a trip. Setbacks include the audio glitching every four seconds during the last two minutes of the first reel, and one set of frames in the first two reels jittering.
