FORMAT: 35mm CONDITION: ★★★★ NOTES: The photography looked utterly breathtaking through this print, presented as part of the Sight and Sound season with a 12-minute intermission. Changeover cues were often made up of large black circles, a giant black square and a white, waffle-like mark. Only other noteworthy sign of ruin was some green marks trailing down for a few seconds to the left as Redmond Barry first meets Lady Lyndon. DATE: February 25th 2023 CINEMA: BFI LOCATION: Southbank

When Alabama sits next to Clarence in the cinema, squiggly scratches get in the way, scratches overlap on the right side of the screen on occasion and four short scratches overlay the rollercoaster scene.
